First and foremost, I must apologise profusely for any offence caused by the  application in some cases of approximate dates of birth. I am currently trying  to make them all as accurate as possible and this may take sometime. I  appreciate that it may appal those I personally know in my family - so please  bear with me and I will gladly correct any erroneous estimations.

The family tree mainly has Nightingales who have emanated from various towns  and villages in Surrey. Notably, Reigate, Betchworth, Buckland, Dorking,  Brockham, Redhill and Charlwood. Nightingale is a very old English surname with  many variations that make research beyond the Internet and personal knowledge   a challenging undertaking.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
